SPOIL

Tanish Agrawal, Arshad Bajil Kuttasseri, Kunika Sharma, Natasha Singh

Short for Sustainable Packaging for Oil, SPOIL capsules are made from saturated fatty acids that are filled with unsaturated fatty acids. They come in sustainable dispensers and are designed to provide an individual with the recommended daily amount of dietary fats.

Able is a cruelty-free, vegan, and 100 percent biodegradable “second skin”-like wound dressing. It is made of aloe vera, tragacanth gum, and glycerin.

Anusha Dhawan

Anusha Dhawan is an architect turned visual artist. She is a design facilitator and industry connect at The Design Village, Noida. Her independent practice addresses and is informed by her praxis in visual communication, drawing for generative design thinking, climate responsive, and responsible design. Additional areas of inquiry for Anusha are design pedagogy, urban architecture, space poetics, and ecology.

Sneha Ravishankar

Sneha Ravishankar is a sustainable process, concept, and product designer. She is a design facilitator and baskets mentor at The Design Village, Noida. She works with material and materialism irrespective of the manifestation and practices design with no limitation or definitions. She believes that empathy and need are of much importance for a designer's praxis.

Dr. Nandita Pasari - Consultant

Dr. Nandita Pasari is a scientist who believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving. She has completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry followed by a master's in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She earned her Ph.D. in molecular and synthetic biology from International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi. She is currently working as a Women Scientist at the National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi. Her research interests lie in deciphering the key regulatory molecules involved in the functioning of living systems such as bacteria and fungi. To accomplish her research projects she has used genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics as tools for systematic understanding. She has several research publications in reputed international journals.

Pritesh Maru

Pritesh Maru is a spatial designer who reimagines spaces in their true essence and devoids them of their unnecessary overtones. He is a facilitator and villaging mentor at The Design Village. Overtly simple, the multifaceted practitioner expresses his expertise in film production design and art direction. His paraphernalia includes photography and exploring movement through new media.

Lena Ragade Gupta

Lena Ragade Gupta is a practising architect, a writer and a facilitator. At The Design Village, she is the Associate Dean of International Practice in Habitat Design. Apart from this, she conducts correlative courses, facilitates the research program and is the Chief Examiner-Admissions. Keenly pursuing water management and micro-climate design, she believes in bringing her values to the table by simply living her brand.

Vatsal Agrawal

Vatsal Agrawal is currently the Academic and International Coordinator, at The Design Village. A Master of Arts in Fashion Management from Domus Academy (Milan, Italy) and University of Wales with Distinction, Vatsal has traversed the luxury industry over the last decade. Trained in Made to Measure by Ermenegildo Zegna, pioneer of luxury menswear, Vatsal headed the creative force behind Eudaemon, an upcoming personalised menswear brand. A design aesthete, a storyteller and brand ontology enthusiast. Passionately weaving stories and narratives, he brings a multifaceted approach to brand building and communicating cultural chronicles.
