MicroGlow Cosmetics reimagines sustainable skincare by harnessing the power of fermented rice. The project focused on engineering a biotechnology-driven cosmetics line that replaces synthetic ingredients with microbially fermented rice derivatives. The result is a skincare system that is both effective and environmentally responsible, reducing reliance on petrochemical compounds while valorizing an abundant agricultural byproduct. MicroGlow Cosmetics proposes a future where beauty is not extracted from the earth, but grown one fermentation batch at a time.
